Your eyelashes are like a picture frame for your eyes. A beautiful frame will really help your eyes make a lasting impression. You don’t have to use fake eyelashes and you shouldn’t anyway, unless you want to look like you have fake eyelashes! Real natural eyelashes look fantastic, and there are a few tricks that will help you to get them without spending a fortune on treatments or trying to make them grow longer with home remedies that don’t work anyway. If you would like to get thick eyelashes with your own natural lashes, keep reading! This a really great way to make your REAL EYELASHES look thicker by adding one easy step.
First, using your eyeliner, apply a natural hue of color above the root of your eyelashes with eyeliner. You can either use a flat brush or your finger. I like to use my finger and apply it up to the crease and blend it in for a natural look. This is really quick and it looks great. For a more dramatic color, use the brush and work in the eyeliner into the crease and tear duct and then spread it around to blend it until you get the color saturation you want. Remember, we are going for the natural look, so don’t overdo it!
Now, curl your eyelashes. Start at the base of lashes and when it’s in position, press it together and hold it for about five seconds. this is important since it will last all day this way. Never use the curler unless your lashes are clean and dry. I like a curler with a silicone line to prevent breaking and pulling the lashes.
Next, use a brush to dust your eyelashes with translucent powder. Swirl the brush into the powder, and then use the brush to apply it to the lashes. Be sure and tap off the extra powder from the brush before you apply it to you eyes. Use gentle swirling strokes. This is the trick to getting that thick natural look on your natural lashes.
Apply your mascara. Start with the flat side of the brush and work the lashes from the base of the lash line to get a good foundation. Now take the curved side and start at the base and use a zig zag stroke from the base to the tip to get volume and separation. That’s it!
The secret to getting thick natural lashes is to add the translucent powder first before putting on your mascara! Just a little tip I thought I would share! Have fun with it and remember to use quality cosmetics.
