Your Footwear
It would be wise to invest in supportive training shoes. Naturally, they have to fit well, especially if you intend on going to a spinning class or on using the treadmill. Shoes that are too tight could cause injuries. As for socks, look for a pair made of lightweight and non-abrasive fabric to prevent blisters.
When looking at workout clothes keep one word in mind: comfort. Keep frills at a minimum to avoid distractions.
