Walking your dog in a bustling city can be fraught with danger if your pooch struggles to be seen by commuters and their hurried stomping feet.

One woman in New York has come up with an inventive way of keeping her pet out of harm’s way and strapped her dog into a ‘pooch pouch’ slung over her shoulder.

The device allows users to carry their dogs like they would a shoulder or handbag.

The dog in this example though seems a little unhappy at being carted around and by the looks of his miserable face is getting fed-up with missing out on walkies.
