Gals, you don’t gotta worry about my tips, they are tried and true! These makeup tips to hide dark circles not only work, but you’ll learn how to quickly hide those circles so this will be a time-saver for you too! I’ve also got a trick up my sleeve to get rid of that puffiness you get in the morning too!
Pale Yellow Powder
So gals, did you know that one makeup trick to hide dark circles is all about the base color of your powder? Yellow base can actually take away from the darkness and it will instantly lighten it up! Just like greenish tinted powder can take redness out, using a little pale yellow powder will make your skin and eyes really bright and will take away all of that darkness! Give it a try!
Use a Cream Concealer
Now, the powder of course is for after you use your concealer, it should be the final step, but did you know that a cream concealer is actually the best? The reason is because it sticks and stays. You don’t want something that is going to crack and seep into any of the fine lines you might have. Instead, you want something that is going to stay put and not going to go anywhere at all!
Know Where to Apply Concealer
When you are covering up the dark circles, it would make sense that you should apply the concealer under the entire eye right? Wrong girlies! Instead, you want to actually apply it where the dark circle appears and almost all the way down towards your cheek. You can use a brush or even just your finger, your choice but make sure that you blend, blend, blend! That is going to be the key of getting rid of your dark circles!
Build Layers of Concealer
When you are dealing with concealer, did you know that you can actually build layers of concealer? Now, this can be tricky because you don’t want it to get cakey, but if you apply thin, thin layers of concealers, one over the other and blend it all together, you’ll see exactly how easy it is to cover up your dark circles! Remember, you’ve got to find a color that is going to work for your skin tone and maybe has a yellow base to it, to take away the discoloration.
Frozen Spoon
Finally, if you have puffiness in the morning and you have absolutely no idea how to get rid of it so you can cover your dark circles, try freezing a spoon. I know it sounds a little weird, but if you freeze two spoons, one for each eye and in the morning, hold the spoons under your eyes until they aren’t cold anymore, you’ll see the puffiness drift away oh-so-easily!
