All the brides to be want to look their best on their wedding day, but to look good on that day; you have to take care of your skin and hair beforehand.
Most of us tend to take care of our skin, but what is of utmost importance is to take care of our hair as well.
It’s the hair that will go through the harsh treatments of chemicals on our wedding day. The bride might want to colour her hair or might want to go for a hairdo which requires a lot of application of hair mousse. So what is advisable is prevention from all the damages.
What you need to incorporate in your diet is lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Drinking at least 1-2 litres of water detoxifies your body giving it a glow.Make sure that you comb your hair at least 5-6 times in a day. Wash your hair every alternative day with a mild and herbal shampoo.
If you have dry hair opt for a moisturizing and anti frizz shampoo, while people with oily and limp hair should opt for a shampoo that adds bounce to your hair. If you are suffering from dandruff make sure to use an anti- dandruff shampoo.
A hair spa treatment could help you fight against split ends, dandruff and incorporate life in your hair. You can also go in for a home remedy to make your hair healthy and shiny. Oil your hair at least twice in a week. Either go in for a hot oil treatment where you heat the oil (coconut, mustard, olive and almond) and massage on scalp and leave for an hour.
Or you could massage your hair with these essential oils and then apply a hot towel on your hair and keep it wrapped up for 30 minutes. Then you can wash your hair with an herbal shampoo after which you can apply a conditioner and keep it for 5 minutes and wash it off.
You can use lemon juice mixed in water and a teaspoon of honey as your last rinse, or a teaspoon of vinegar and water as your last rinse. Or you could also make a conditioner out of egg and mix it with a few drops of oil, and then you can apply it on your hair and leave it for an hour and wash it off.Make sure to take care of your hair as you would want to look like a picture perfect bride on your wedding day.
